Great for kids. Nice sandy beach with lifeguards. Warm water most of the summer. Good place to learn how to kayak or canoe.
One of my favorite state parks in Maine. The water is so beautiful clean the way the wind blows off the sand always makes the water feel warmer than it is outside. It can be crowded but you still feel like you have enough space to enjoy yourself. I've never had a problem at this beach
Clean and family oriented. Great to spend the day. They do need to upgrade the playground though
I take my kids here every summer. It's clean. There is almost always a lifeguard on duty. The rest rooms and changing area are always clean.
Nice buildings for changing, lifeguards on duty, just dirty due to it being a small pond & very popular for families with young kids. There is a wheelchair ramp to get in the water which is cool & frequently a food truck, but $6 per person to get in is pretty steep.
